Iain Kennedy brings over 25 years of capital markets and FinTech experience to the Chainge management team. Iain has spent time in all three global regions in a career spanning trading, sales and managing high performing financial services teams. During the last five years he has engaged deeply with clients facing the complex problems of todays markets, and delivered solutions via innovative platforms, software, workflow and data.
Iain graduated from the University of Bristol in the UK with a B.Sc, joint honors, degree in Economics and Accounting. His career started at Credit Suisse in London as a corporate credit trader, and he later embraced the opportunity to move to New York where he took a global role in international fixed income. Subsequent roles at several major investment banks crossed traditional product lines and exposed him to all major asset classes across regions and customer types. Past institutions include Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Nomura and most recently IHS Markit. Iain joined IHS as part of the acquisition of Ipreo where he was a key team-member driving the adoption of digital technology in primary markets. In his subsequent role as the global head of sales for the Global Markets Group, Iain managed a worldwide team covering both buy and sell side institutions across multiple product verticals.
